The signposting and differentiation is very well thought through. The students always know where they are and what they are supposed to do. The different learning paths allow for individualisation and differentiation.
The students are usefully encouraged to use the sources as a basis for research and independent acquisition of knowledge; the inclusion of historical sources really makes the material interesting to work with.
The material includes really well selected and relevant illustrations, from images of artefacts via maps to works of arts, diagrams such as mind maps, drawings and comic-style illustrations.
